I’m Jenna Fiello

I’m so happy to have you here! If I’m going to get to know you, I strongly believe that it’s only fair for you to get to know me too. 

So, here’s a bit more about me and why I’m here to help you… 

The Professional

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a Bachelors degree in Social Work with a minor in psychology, and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counselling. I am an ally to many, including 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities (to name a few).

I want to meet you wherever you are in your healing journey. I am here to help you explore the roots of your concerns, meet your goals, and to find ways to foster a more enriching and empowering life. In other words, I am here to walk through the shit with you (let’s be real—we are all human. We’ve all stepped in it once or twice). 

As you can likely tell by the practices’ name, I am a strong believer in using a humanistic approach to therapy and life. Ultimately, humanistic therapy is about fostering a therapeutic relationship built on trust, empathy, and authenticity, where you can explore your inner world, gain insights, and work towards realizing your full potential as a human. Let’s get real together and find out what the beauty of being human means for you.

I’m a blend of my professional clinical background with my true human parts. 

I’m human! In my practice, my “armchair” is not a pedestal or a soapbox. I don’t know more about you than you know about yourself, so you are still the expert. I’m here to help you make sense of your human experience, and heal along the way to finding “you.” 

You will laugh, you will cry, you will have all the range of emotions in between—and, that’s normal for the human experience. My biggest goal is to help you bring yourself back home; whatever that may look like for you—all while cultivating a deeper connection with yourself.

My Approach

I use a wide range of psychotherapy techniques to help you access the deeper parts of yourself. With that said, every session is different & every client experience is unique. My curated therapy approach will use a combination of the following treatments that I highly value in my clinical practice:

Are you feelin’ it?

  • ACT is all about helping you build a life that feels meaningful, even when things feel difficult. Instead of fighting your thoughts or feelings, we learn how to make space for them and move forward in a way that aligns with your values. It’s a gentle, practical approach that helps you get unstuck and feel more grounded in who you are.

  • EMDR helps your brain process painful or overwhelming experiences so they no longer feel so heavy or “stuck.” Through guided eye movements or tapping, we work together to help your nervous system release old patterns and create new, healthier ways of responding. Many people find EMDR empowering because it allows healing to happen without needing to relive every detail of the past.

  • DBT focuses on building skills that make daily life more manageable. We learn skills to help with calming your emotions, navigating conflict, staying present, and making choices you feel good about. It’s practical, down-to-earth, and designed to help you feel more balanced. DBT is especially helpful if you often feel overwhelmed, reactive, or stuck between extremes.

  • CBT helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours so you can create healthier patterns that support your well-being. Together, we notice unhelpful thoughts, gently challenge them, and practice new ways of responding that feel more balanced and realistic. It’s a collaborative, structured approach that gives you practical tools you can use in everyday life.

  • EFT Tapping involves gently tapping on specific acupressure points while we focus on what’s causing stress or discomfort. It helps calm the body’s stress response so you feel clearer and more settled. Many people love it because it’s simple, soothing, and something you can easily use on your own between sessions.
